PEAK SEASON: Friday 23rd December 2023 -Sunday 14th January 2024 All rates are GST (15%) inclusive and are in New Zealand dollars ($NZD) Check-In Time Check-in times is from 2pm on the day of arrival. Guests must be checked in by 8pm. Check-out time is 10am on the day of departure. Late check-outs may be possible with prior arrangement. Deposit Payment Policy Credit card details are required to secure your booking. Your credit card will be charged a deposit of one night's stay within 24 hours of your booking confirmation. If your booking is made for five nights or more then a deposit of two nights stay will be charged. Over peak periods including Christmas/New Years, Auckland Anniversary and Easter a deposit of up to five nights stay maybe required. If the credit card cannot be charged for any reason then we reserve the right to cancel the booking. The balance of payment for all accommodation must be made in full on the day of arrival. Cancellation Policy If your plans change for some reason we do understand. We ask that you let us know as soon as possible. For PEAK SEASON BOOKING dates (Friday 22nd December 2023 - Sunday 7th January 2024): If you cancel at least 21 days prior to your arrival date we will refund your deposit less a $25 administration fee. Your deposit is not refundable if your cancellation is made within 21 days of your arrival date. If you fail to arrive or cancel 7 days or less before your arrival date then you will be charged in full for your booking. For PEAK SEASON BOOKING dates (Monday 8th January 2024 - Sunday 14th January 2024) and NON-PEAK SEASON BOOKING dates: If you cancel at least 7 days prior to your arrival date we will refund your deposit less a $25 administration fee. Your deposit is not refundable if your cancellation is made within 7 days of your arrival date. If you fail to arrive or cancel 48 hours or less before your arrival date then you will be charged in full for your booking. No refunds will be given to guests checking out of the park early including due to weather disruptions. Amendments can only be accepted for bookings made directly with us or via our own website and at the discretion of management. Amendments received within 48 hours of the arrival date or which result in a reduction in the total booking value may be treated as cancellations. Bookings are not transferable unless you have our written agreement. Our cancellation terms are not negotiable and we recommend guests have travel insurance. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any booking made directly with us or via a third party. We are not obliged to justify any refusal or cancellation but will refund any deposit paid. If due to circumstances beyond our control the cabin or site becomes unavailable or unfit for use we will notify you as soon as possible and a refund of your deposit will be made in full. COVID-19 We continue to strive to keep the safety and wellbeing of our guests and team members at the forefront of everything we do. We are working in line with the required NZ Government Covid-19 restrictions. COVID- 19 Cancellation Policy For existing bookings that cannot proceed due to NZ Government imposed Covid-19 domestic travel restrictions, we will be happy to provide a refund less an administration fee. This policy only comes into force when the NZ Government notifies of a travel restriction that affects your travel dates. This does not cover an event cancellation, a person in your group being unable to travel due to positive Covid-19 test or an unfavourable weather forecast. We ask that you respect our commitment to keeping all our guests and team members safe. Child Policy Children are classified as 3-16 years. Infants and toddlers under 3 years are free. Children are to be controlled and supervised by parents at all times. All persons under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Pet Policy Due to our proximity to a Kiwi Habitat Conservation Zone we are unable to accept pets. This includes all dogs unless they are certified disability assist dogs. Conduct We ask all guests to behave in a considerate manner and to respect other guests. We ask that all guests restrict their noise level after 10pm and before 7am. No music after 10pm and no loud music at any time. There is some discretion on New Year’s Eve. Alcohol may only be consumed on your site and excessive drinking and parties are not permitted. Drugs are strictly forbidden. A behaviour bond may be charged for groups at Management’s discretion. We reserve the right to refuse entry and/or request termination of booking without refund regarding disorderly conduct and/or who has, at any time, been in breach of Whangapoua Holiday Park's Terms & Conditions of Stay. Caravans Including campervans must have an electrical warrant of fitness and comply with LPG Standard (NZS5428:1996). All campervans and caravans must have their own wastewater container. Chemical toilets cannot be emptied on site. Damage Cost of damage to property or accommodation will be recovered from the guest\s responsible. No Fires All fires are strictly prohibited including candles and charcoal BBQs. Smoking, Vaping, Drugs Smoking and vaping is not permitted within any building. The use of drugs and illegal substances are prohibited by law and will not be tolerated on site. If you are found to be in breach then you will be asked to leave the park immediately. Tents Electricity can only be connected through an approved isolating transformer or RCD Safety Switch. Tents must be a minimum of 1.5 metres within each camp site boundary. We ask for your co-operation so that your stay and the stay of other guests can be enjoyable. Breach of any of these conditions, Health & Safety or Fire Regulations may result in you being required to leave the park immediately without refund. For bookings click here. |
